My husband is a golfer, and even though I don’t play, I love watching golf and following the sport. We try to attend a PGA golf tournament each year for a getaway. Since most of the major golf tournaments are in the spring and take place in warmer climates, I like to think I’ve mastered my golf tournament style so I’m comfortable all day.

Below is a list of key components for a women’s golf tournament outfit. These are my recommendations based on my experience, and I hope they work for you!

You can’t go wrong with a Romper or a Short-set

Here’s why…

They’re airy, making them warm-weather friendly. With a full day of walking, you want to avoid your legs rubbing together, causing discomfort. This style of outfit will leave you comfortable all day, and it's so easy to dress up with accessories. This short set is one of my go-tos, and it comes in many colors!

Comfortable shoes are a must

If you plan to walk the course the day of the tournament, comfortable, pre-broken in shoes are a must! I typically do a little research on the venue to determine what style of shoe to wear. A white sneaker pairs well with any short outfit or dress. If you prefer to wear sandals, make sure they’re fully broken in before you go.

Essentials you should bring

Be prepared for rain or shine.

This sun hat is one of my favorite purchases. It’s great for travel because you can fold it in your suitcase and it doesn’t lose form. For tournament days with a chance of rain, I highly recommend the below crop rain jacket. It’s thin enough that you can tie it around your waist.

Enjoy the tournament!
