Anthro Dupes

Earlier this year, I wanted to switch up the "vibe" in my home office. I guess you can say I was going for a cheerful, chic resort aesthetic, like a set on HBO's White Lotus series (I highly recommend watching this show if you haven’t already). I also wanted to mix in a collection of treasures from my travels with some vintage pieces passed down from my grandmother. It's very specific, I know, but let’s just say I had a vision.

To get inspired, I headed to my local Anthropologie store, where I quickly discovered some of the best accent pieces that would bring my vision to life. I will admit that I have a love-hate relationship with this retailer because I want everything in the store, but I absolutely hate their high prices.

Even though I didn’t purchase anything that day, I left feeling determined to find the same exact items or very close dupes for half the cost. I took pictures of the items I really liked, and I also took note of the brand and manufacturer names. Sharing a little secret.. Anthro buys a lot of their items from artisans who make similar items for other retailers too, so there’s a good chance you can find these products elsewhere.

Later that day, it only took me 20 minutes of searching online to find the best Anthro dupes for my office refresh. I found similar items that were close in style to the ones I spotted at Anthro and, surprisingly, 60-70% less in price!

My most treasured find of all were the curtain dupes I found on Amazon. I originally fell in love with the below Anthro, Perla Curtains (see below screenshot), and I thought these would give my office the pop of color it needed to set the tone of the room. I really liked these, but I hated the idea of paying $130+ per panel. I needed four panels for my room, so that would have cost me $520 all in. The price was not negotiable, so I had to keep hunting.

Until I discovered the Ellis Brissac Curtain, which was my largest home decor savings find yet. The Ellis curtains not only had a better design and color scheme, but the best part was that they were only ~$30 a panel! Of course, I was skeptical of the quality, but they ended up being the highest-quality curtains I think I’ve ever owned. No smell, soft feel, lined, easy to hang, textured high quality fabric creating a smooth draping effect, machine washable—what more could I want? I bought four panels for a total of $120, which is even cheaper than one Anthro curtain panel. With that being said, I felt obligated to share this with others because maybe it can save you some time and some money!

Sold as a single panel. Use multiple panels to custom fit your needs. I needed two panels per window and they’re perfect.

Here are a few other Anthro dupes that I believe are a steal compared to paying full retail
